Company «Severstal» Build a mini-factory for the production of rolled steel in the Ivanovo region. Initially, the construction of this plant was planned in Nizhniy Novgorod region. The company promises to invest in the project 14 billion rubles. and already in 2011 to run an enterprise that can produce 1 million tonnes of bars per year.
September 10, 2008 governor of the Ivanovo region, Mikhail Men investsoglashenie signed with the head of division «Severstal the Russian Steel» Anatoly Kruchininym on construction in the region of the mini-factory. Plans «Severstal» to begin construction as early as 2009, and completed in 2011. Head of Press Service of the Ivanovo region governor Oleg Rakitje added that the company will built 15 km from Ivanova, in the village Inevesh. «Severstal» chose the Ivanovo region, as the region closest to the fastest growing construction markets, has words of Oleg Rakitovo newspaper «RBC daily».
