Its founder - British designer Ross Lavgrouv (Ross Lovegrove) - studied
traditions of turkish ceramics: geometrical figure and calligraphy, and also
ethnic features and architecture to introduce national colour.
Into
collection Istanbul entered 175 products incorporated by one concept:
the bath mixers similar to branches of trees, the round and oval baths
associating ancient fonts, separately costing and hinged bowls reminding
sculptures, a tile (15? 15 and 10? 30 sm) with the impressive figure reproducing
waves and splashes of water, and simple, but simultaneously original
furniture.
Integrity and aesthetic harmony of collection emphasized with
geometrical ornament on ceramic tile (25? 40 sm) and baths. For works Rossa
Lavgrouva the cleanliness of forms caused by internal vision of mutual relations
between the person, the nature and technology is characteristic. Istanbul are
elements from the world of the nature in futuristic forms.
